On a starry night, the city's shimmering skyline seemed to hold secrets, its towering buildings casting long shadows over the streets below. Detective James "Jimmer" Crescendo leaned against his car, the faint glow of a cigarette illuminating his weary face.
He was on the hunt for a notorious serial killer known for targeting musicians, leaving a trail of haunting melodies in his wake.
